Middle School World History is a course that gives broad overview of the various cultures around the world and throughout history. Students will pick two out of four possible cultural plunges from each of the 8 worlds below; consequently, there are 601,080,000 possible cultural pathways students can experience. Each level should take between 2 to 3 weeks, depending on school schedule. Upon completion of the 8 worlds (Levels), the student will develop a final project that illustrates the year-long cultural journey. Think of this course as a version of the Mario Brothers III (Nintendo video game) and a Choose Your Own Adventure Book. This course will be stimulating and will allow students to work at their own pace, within reason.
What we are working on for the week of 06/05 through 06/08:
- Final Project:
- You will take the next three weeks to develop an independent project that will highlight all 17 cultural plunges you have completed.
- Craft, grammar, proper use of time, and information will be assessed for each cultural plunge (17) that is provided in the final project.
- Spring semester grades will be posted Friday (06/09/23) by 1200 MST.
- Have a great summer; it was a pleasure teaching at Three Forks Schools.
